So I will be voting after work today and I hope the line isn't too long--I can't wait for all of the political ads (on tv, radio and robo calls)  to finally stop.  The attack ads and constant phone calls do not influence people's votes, in fact, I think it might make people want to choose the other guy to vote for :)

So, not only do we have to worry about the pandemic, we also have to be concerned about contracting shingles--between that and the flu vaccine, the department of health wants us to be vaccinated out the wahzoo!

But it's only for two more days :)  I am covering another coworker's job and it's strange being back in a room full of cubicles and there's only three other people occupying the space :)

So this year was my niece's senior year of high school but everything she was looking forward to has been cancelled:  besides classes, all of her sports activites, her graduation ceremony and her prom have been done away with.  I did hear that the school might have the graduation ceremony moved to July but I wonder, would the kids want to have ( Read more... )

I am a Sansa fan and I'm loving that she is proving to be the true Queen of the North, with her understanding that it take more to rule then having dragons.  Her first thought is for the safety of her fellow Northerners and not for exerting her own power.

And Sophie Turner is hysterically funny and a good sport.  ( Rant against insane stans forthwith: )

First and foremost, my beloved aunt Jan passed away unexpectedly from cancer at the beginning of January.  We are all still in shock and feel horrible for her children especially because my cousin Colleen will be having her first baby in February-she definitely would have leaned on her mom and needed her support.

I'm dying over here--my Olympic TV boyfriend, Bob Costas, is stepping down as the host for NBC's Olympic coverage.  WTF??!!   No one else can be as witty, effortlessly charming and as knowledgeable about sports.  DAMN!!

So it’s January 4th of 2017 and I decided that I need to vent.  So brace yourselves for a completely random bit of complaining and belly-aching.
